Nike Victory Red TW Blades

The Nike TW Blades

As described by Nike "CRAFTED FOR VICTORY"

"Nike Golf has been crafting Tiger's irons for over six years. In creating the irons that have more wins under their hosels than any other set since 2003, we've learned a thing or two about feel. About control. And about how many players can't hit blades. so our engineers asked Tiger for his input. What came out were three distinct ways for anyone to play on inspiration."

The Victory Red Forged TW Blade is a muscle back design which positions the center of gravity where it is most rewarding and allows for great control and shot making ability.
They are machined to precision from 1025 Forged Carbon Steel, with a milled flat face encouraging consistent contact.

The Victory Red Forged TW Blade comes standard with a True Temper Dynamic Gold shaft with X100, S300 and R300 flexes available. Shafts from Ust, Royal Precision and Aldila are also available upon request.

I am looking at a set of these flawless blades as I write this. It is said that Tiger himself will be playing these Irons, and I can see why. They are sharp.

Keeping to a traditional style blade, the top view of these irons at address is thin and very classy. The irons do tend to be more modern when it comes to cosmetics. With Tiger red, flashing its way across the muscle back and a hint of red in the R, it is apparent from first glance you are about to hold something special.

A blade is not intended for a golfer who can not break 80 and these are no different. They have no forgiveness and are meant to be hit perfect. Those that do hit it well and are single digit handicaps will quickly fall in love with the new found ability to work the ball in either direction rather easily. I must mention that worked shots still feel as solid as straight shots and distance seems to stay consistent with pure struck shots, no matter what action, fade or draw.

Couple these irons with a Dynamic Gold X100 or S300 and the ability to hit lower, driving shots that are less effected by the wind, seems almost natural.

The milled smooth face allows for great spin rates and if desired a high shot (coupled with address position) that lands softly is now in your repertoire.

I would recommend trying out these irons and when compared to the other blades on the market these are as nice to swing as the rest and are as comparable in price.
